The purpose with all yoga is to put you in contact with your inner self. We teach exclusively IYENGAR® yoga, which is unique in the way it stimulates the individual both physically, mentally, and emotionally by combining physical ”training” with mental focus.
In common with most other forms of yoga, IYENGAR® steadily builds strength, endurance and flexibility. In addition, great importance is placed on the precision of positions and the ability to hold concentration.
Teaching is divided into levels. In this way, you will constantly be challenged without the risk of extending your body beyond its current limits. You will learn how correct technique can develop your understanding of the finer aspect of positions – and thereby advance your practice. The general experience you can expect from IYENGAR® yoga is one of dynamism and vitality – with a deep and positive effect on your mood and well-being.
